What is acid wash?

An acid wash removes algae, mineral, chlorine and any other stains on the bottom or the sides of the pool depending on pool surface. Chemicals are used to reveal a clean pool surface. These unpleasant stains cannot be removed by scrubbing, an acid wash is required

Does my pool need an acid wash?

An acid wash is best for pools with unattractive stains caused by hard water and algae buildup. This causes the water to look murky and the pool color will change to green or black. It is often caused after prolonged lack of regular pool maintenance. Typically, if you can’t see the bottom of your pool, it’s time for an acid wash.
